What you will do
- Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about solutions to enable customer competence to build
- Responsible for Business Support Systems Solutions/Products Pre-Sales & Delivery
- Responsible for scope, defining and designing solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions
- Analyze customer technology, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis
- Develop technical presentations and proposals, and perform customer presentations
- Assume a CSR (customer solution responsible) role or Lead Solution Architect within the Sales & Delivery Life cycle of projects/programs
- Drive business strategy creation and implementation for end-to-end Solutions Sales & delivery Programs for a specific customer.
- Define and handle the end-to-end (E2E) Solutions offerings, including standard BSS Portfolio and qualified 3PP (Third Party Publishing) solutions/services partners.
- Team with the KAM/AM organization to identify, plan and handle sales engagements for qualified key opportunities for assigned domains.
- Lead respective Domain and Technology Integration Solution Architects within Sales and Delivery cycles
- Manage opportunities pipeline for end-to-end (E2E) Solutions.
- Customer Critical issue point for Solution respective manners.
- Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing
You will bring
- Fluent in French and English
- Minimum B.Sc. Degree in related subject areas with 8 or more years of relevant experience in telecom/IT information systems consulting, pre-sales, and solution implementations.
- Education: BS in Engineering (Telecom/ Computers/ Communications and Information/ IT)
- Domain experience: area of expertise – Business Support Systems, in specific Billing Systems, with proficiency in all sun domains (Rating, provisioning, and invoicing)
- Excellent technical knowledge of telecom concepts, processes, and solutions.
- Good understanding of service provider’s business and information systems.
- Cloud and virtualization knowledge is a plus.
- Proven experience in leading consulting, pre-sales, and solutions implementation of end-to-end telecom business solutions.
- Exposure to Sales Process -is a plus- to manage complex Digital Services Project sales engagements and solutions partner qualifications and management is an advantage.
- Consultative behavior, business-driven and self-motivated.
- Excellent people & customer management skills.
- Fluent in written and oral English communications.
- Technology certifications are add-ons (eTOM, TOGAF, ITIL, TMForum, etc.)
- Experience from technical job roles, e.g. experience from work as an Integration Engineer or Software Developer.
- Cloud & Hyperscale knowledge and understanding.
Additional requirements
- Such Programs will require extensive Billing system knowledge along with depth knowledge of the following:
- Business Support System (BSS) modernization, transformation, and consolidation (Billing, Charging, Mediation, Convergence, Order Management, etc.)
- Digital Services Transformation Programs, Roadmaps and Strategy, and Digital Customer Journeys
- Digital Services Telco industry standard models and frameworks (eTOM, TOGAF, etc.)
- End-to-End Systems Integrations of Business support system
- Experience on Cloud & Hyper Scaler (Google, Amazon, Azure, etc.) trends within Telcos as well as the ability to take discussions with customers on such Transformations journeys.
- 5G & Orchestration knowledge, how this is impacting the Telco in general & BSS domain in particular.
