Your Mission:
As an Expansion & Facility Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of store openings and facility operations. You’ll ensure compliance with local laws and regulations while overseeing construction projects, maintenance, and repairs across multiple locations.
The Journey:
- Store Expansion & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations during store openings.
- Manage all required authorizations, permits, and legal paperwork for the opening and operation of stores.
- Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring that timelines and quality standards are met.
- Facility Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for store managers regarding any maintenance issues.
- Coordinate and manage all maintenance and repair activities across stores.
- Source and negotiate with service providers to secure the best deals for repairs and maintenance while ensuring high standards of quality and timeliness.
- Project Management:
- Lead projects from inception to completion, including paperwork, construction, and handover phases.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are adhered to.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively in both French and Arabic with stakeholders, including government entities and service providers.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations and timely project completion.
What You Will Bring to the Ride:
- Proven experience in expansion, facility management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of local laws and compliance requirements for retail operations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in French and Arabic communication, both written and verbal.
- Experience in managing construction and maintenance projects, with strong negotiation and cost management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment, and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in retail or dark store operations.
- Familiarity with local service providers and contractors.
