Business Intelligence Developer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
• Design and develop data models, ETL processes, and data warehouses to consolidate and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.
• Implement data quality standards and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across BI solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users to resolve BI-related issues and queries.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in business intelligence, data analytics, and data visualization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and data scientists, to deliver high-quality BI solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on BI tools and best practices for data analysis and reporting.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of BI tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance our BI infrastructure and capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus.
• Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL programming and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Hands-on experience with BI tools and platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or SAP BusinessObjects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality BI solutions that meet user requirements and business objectives.
