Cyber Security Engineer

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of customer technical requirements in the context of automotive cybersecurity;
• Development of cybersecurity expertise, especially related to embedded vehicles, wireless communications and cloud interfaces and usage (analyses threats);
• Analyze and identify security weaknesses in drivers, vehicle functions and SYS/SW architectures;
• Development of product cybersecurity according to project plan;
• Production of project deliverables according to automotive industry standards and regulations;
• Ensure that all applicable cybersecurity methods, processes, and policies are properly followed on the project and that the product meets all cybersecurity requirements for the project from design through production and into retirement.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity domain;
• Experience in embedded cybersecurity;
• Previous work experience in automotive development processes;
• Experience in systems engineering and architecture (understanding of embedded architecture, development, design principles);
• Knowledge of cryptographic methods, algorithms, and secure networks protocols;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field;
• Experience with the application of security and safety relevant standards;
• Experience developing embedded cybersecurity mechanisms preferred;
• Excellent English language communication skills, both written and verbal.
