Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans and objectives to achieve revenue targets and business growth objectives.
- Lead and manage the field sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management to drive individual and team success.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to identify business opportunities and drive customer engagement.
- Drive sales expansion in the assigned territory by identifying new business opportunities, developing leads, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer success, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify areas for growth and develop sales strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, including pipeline management, sales forecasting, and revenue tracking, to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and key insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote products and services, build brand awareness, and generate leads.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sales management and field sales techniques to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of success in field sales and leadership roles.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Proven ability to drive sales expansion, generate leads, and close deals in a competitive market environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in sales CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite.
